Everything You Think is Wrong Day is a day when nothing goes right. on this Arch 15 holiday, it’s not just in your thinking, that things are going wrong. Things are indeed going wrong, literally. Everything you see or hear appears to be all wrong. How frustrating! Have you ever had a day like that…… a day when nothing was going right? Yeah, me too!  Well, today is a special day in recognition that everyone has a bad day once in a while. It can even happen to you. We just hope you don’t think it happens all the time.

Sure, there are more than subtle differences in the interpretation and meaning of the two days. But, you get the picture. Today is going to be your day… a good, errr make that great day!

If the boss can get a Bosses Day, then it’s only fair and appropriate that you, the employee, get a day in your honor. Employee Appreciation Day was created in March to honor all employees everywhere.

On this day, companies, businesses, and organizations across the country organize celebrations to recognize the hard and smart work of their employees. Recognitions vary widely and may include lunch, snacks, cakes, other munchies, and small recognition gifts. Don’t expect a day off. Chances are, it just won’t happen.

As we researched this day, we wondered if it was a coincidence that Employee’s Day and Bosses Day are six months apart…..hmmmmmm.

Earmuff Day is today. This March 13 holiday celebrates a warm invention…the earmuff! People in cold climates can really appreciate this day. And they are ever so thankful to the person who created them. If you live in Florida, you might not even know what an earmuff is.

Earmuffs keep your ears warm and protect you from ear infections and earaches resulting from icy cold wind and weather. Manufacturers have responded to their popularity with a variety of designs and colors, making one fit almost anyone’s personality.

The arrival of Dumbstruck Day leaves us dumbfounded. It’s no surprise that more and more people are dumbstruck on an increasingly frequent basis. The volumes of fake, false, and erroneous information being printed in the media, and especially in social media, makes it all but impossible to sort out the truth from the lies. Therefore, we all have the right to be hopelessly dumbstruck. And this March 15 holiday is the perfect time to feel this way.

Dumbstruck Day is a day to be totally dumbstruck and stupefied over the things you see, hear and read. You may easily be dumbstruck to read that someone created this special day. Some people are dumbstruck on a regular basis, day in and day out. The events in their lives and the world around them are overwhelming. Fortunately, that’s not you, at least we hope not.

However, everyone has the right to be dumbstruck once in a while. If you are normally embarrassed to be dumbstruck, then today is truly a special day. Today, you can be dumbstruck like the rest of us without guilt or embarrassment.

National Doctors Day was created to show appreciation to your medical doctors. Doctors perform vital diagnosis, treatment, and care for yourself and your family. When you are well, your doctor keeps you well. When you are sick, there is no other person more important to you than your doctor. So, on this March 30 holiday, express your appreciation to all of your doctors. 

This day celebrates all medical doctors, from general physicians to specialists in every medical field. Surgeons are doctors, too. Don’t forget to express your appreciation to them, too.

Open your mouth and say “Aaaah”.. Dentist’s Day has arrived. This March 6 holiday is a great day to display a big, toothy grin. Your Dentist plays a role in that big, bright smile. He’s an important person in keeping your smile bright, and your teeth and mouth healthy. Therefore, it is only fitting that we have a day to celebrate this very special person in your life.

Celebrating our dentist is one thing. Going to see the dentist, is another thing entirely. If your Dentist is such an important person, then why are we so scared of the next dental visit? Is it perhaps the fear of discovering a cavity? Maybe, he will find the beginnings of gum disease?  The fear of the dentist ranks right up there with…. the fear of pulling teeth!

Today is Credit Card Reduction Day. The goal of this March 21 holiday is simple, take action today to reduce your credit card debt. While you’re at it, make and implement a plan to reduce and eliminate all other loans and debts. This debt comes with huge interest rates. It’s money we pay to the bank that reduces our ability to spend it on other things we need and enjoy.

Take a look at the interest payment on your monthly statement. It’s H-U-G-E. Credit card debt can have a crushing and devastating effect on our lives. It keeps us from buying the house of our dreams, or a new car. It restricts our ability to make other purchases. And, it adds stress to our lives. I don’t know about you, but I could use a little less stress in my life.  Credit card debt comes with high, usurious interest rates. As credit card balances go up, so do the minimum payments, which can put a real crimp on our limited discretionary spending.

Did you Know? If you only pay the minimum amount due each month, it will seemingly take forever to pay off the balance. That’s exactly what credit card companies are hoping you do.

So, increase your personal wealth, and improve your quality of life. Today is the day to begin doing something about reducing your credit card debt. You don’t need to pay off the balance today. Rather, today is a great day to begin whittling away at the balance.

If it is Saint Patrick’s Day, then it must certainly also be National Corned Beef and Cabbage Day. This is no coincidence. Here in America, you can’t have one without the other. So today, let’s celebrate both of these March 17 holidays.

So, the American version of this easy-to-make Irish dish became Corned Beef and Cabbage.

Recognizing that Corned Beef and Cabbage actually originated in America, you may wonder if you can truly call it “Irish”? Well, of course, it is! Irish people created it. They just happened to be immigrants to the U.S.
