Clam Dip Recipe Directions
Follow these directions to make any of the three recipes below.
Choose one of the recipes below.
In a bowl, mix well all ingredients, except any bacon, clams, onions, or peppers.
Fold in the remaining ingredients.
Chill.
Serve with vegetables, crackers, or chips.
Clam Dip #1 Ingredients
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1 can (6-1/2 ounces) minced clams, drained
1/4 cup sliced green onions
Clam Dip#2 Ingredients
8 ounces of cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sour cream
two 6 1/2-ounce cans minced of clams, drained, reserving 3 tablespoons of liquid
1/of 3 cups finely chopped red bell pepper
1 shallot, minced
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley leaves
3/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon cayenne
Recipe #3: Bacon Clam Dip Ingredients
10 tablespoons reduced-fat sour cream
10 tablespoons reduced-fat mayonnaise
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
3/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 (6 1/2 ounce) cans of chopped clams, drained
2 slices center-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled
