Artists of all kinds are celebrating around the world today, as it is International Artist Day, an October 25 holiday. It certainly makes sense that this should be an international event. There are so many famous artists from virtually every corner of the world. But, there are many other art fields, including acting, dancing, photographers, writers, musicians, poets, and digital artists, to name a few. There are certainly plenty more artistic fields. So, let’s use today to celebrate all artists around the world.

  • Spend a little time today, to appreciate all of the art that surrounds you.

History and Origin of International Artist Day

International Artist Day was created in 2004 in Surry, BC, Canada by Chris MacClure. MacClure is an established Canadian painter. This day was created to honor the contributions artist make to society.

We encourage you to give recognition to both famous artists and budding artists.  You never know which young talent will reach worldwide fame.
