You might say the devil made you do it. This is a basic deviled egg recipe. However, you can do all sorts of variations. Try adding chives to the egg yolk mixture. Or, instead of bacon bits, put a green olive (whole or sliced) on top of each egg.

6 hard-boiled eggs, chilled, peeled, and cut lengthwise
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon dry ground mustard
salt and pepper to taste
real bacon, cooked and crumbled into bits
paprika
How to Make Deviled Eggs Directions
Carefully scoop yolks out of egg halves.
Set egg white halves aside on a plate or a piece of waxed paper.
In a bowl, mix together with a fork the egg yolks, mayonnaise, mustard, and a dash of salt and pepper.
Fill the empty egg whites with the egg yolk mixture.
Sprinkle a few bacon bits on top of each egg.
Sprinkle a little paprika over the egg for effect.
