Coconut Macaroon Cookie Recipe Ingredients
1 1/2 cups shredded Coconut
1/3 cup Granulated Sugar
3 Tbs. All-Purpose Flour
1/8 tsp. Salt
2 Egg Whites
1/2 tsp. Almond Extract
18 halves Maraschino Cherries
Directions How to Make Coconut Macaroons Recipe
First, preheat the oven to 325° F.
Then,m lightly grease a cookie sheet.
In a large bowl, combine coconut, sugar, flour, and salt.
Stir in egg whites and almond extract.
Drop dough from a teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
Press a cherry half into the cookie.
Bake for 20 minutes, until the edges of the cookie are brown.
Remove cookies and place them on a wire rack to cool.
