Cinnamon rolls are great for Thanksgiving morning, Christmas morning, or….. any morning! Try it for Easter and other holidays, too. While this is described as a holiday treat, you can enjoy the at any time of the year.

Cinnamon Rolls Ingredients
2 packages of active dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup sugar
6 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups warm milk
8 cups flour
1 Tablespoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 Tablespoons confectioners sugar
How to Make Cinnamon Rolls Directions
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add salt, margarine, sugar, eggs, and warm milk.
Add flour gradually until the dough is stiff and smooth.
Cover with a towel, and set in a warm place, allowing the dough to double in size.
Beat down the dough and allow it to rise again.
Push down and beat with a spoon until the dough is shiny.
Grease two large muffin pans.
Cut dough in half, placing one half on each muffin pan. The pan should be half full.
Let dough rise to the top of muffin pans.
Brush tops with butter or margarine.
In a small bowl, combine cinnamon, nutmeg, and confectionery sugar.
Sprinkle mixture on top of rolls.
Bake in preheated oven at 450° F for 15 minutes.
