Chocolate Buttercream Frosting Recipe Ingredients
2 cups unsalted butter, softened
3 tablespoons milk
12 ounces semisweet chocolate, melted and cooled to lukewarm
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups powdered sugar
Directions How to Make Chocolate Buttercream Frosting Recipe
- Melt chocolate in a double boiler. Allow it to cool until just warm.
- In a mixing bowl, beat butter until creamy, about 3 minutes.
- Add milk and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
- Add melted chocolate. Beat about 3 minutes.
- Add powdered sugar, beating on low until smooth and creamy.

Then, wipe the cleaning rag across the top, bottom, and side of each blade. Use care to avoid pushing down hard on the blades.
