How to Care for Hanging Flower Planters

Caring for hanging flower planters is not difficult. However, it requires frequent attention. Hanging under the eaves of your house, the planter does not benefit from summer rain. It dries out quickly, especially in hot and humid weather. Daily watering may be needed during heat spells.

Also, there is a limited amount of soil in the planter that does not have sufficient nutrients to feed the plants all season long. So, additional fertilizer is required every 2 – 3 weeks to keep the plant vibrantly blooming. Use liquid fertilizer or plant fertilizer spikes.
