Then you realize that it’s National Fried Chicken Day. Now, you jump out of bed anxious for this July 6 holiday to begin so you can enjoy crisp and tasty, finger-licking good southern fried chicken.
Fried chicken is one of America’s favorite meals. Sure, we all know that fried foods are not good for us. But, southern fried chicken tastes ohhhhh so good. We just can’t resist having it on a regular basis.
The debate rages on as to who makes the very best fried chicken. We know the answer without even conducting a survey. It’s Mom!
There’s just one thing you need to do to celebrate this day: Eat some fried chicken. You can have it for lunch, dinner, or cold leftovers as a snack. Better still, have it for lunch, dinner, AND a snack.
