Christmas Fudge Cake Ingredients
1 egg
4 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
4 eggs
3 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt.
1 cup milk
Directions How to Make Christmas Fudge Cake Recipe
First, beat the egg.
Then, in a saucepan, combine the egg, unsweetened chocolate squares, 1 cup sugar, and milk.
Heat slowly, stirring frequently, until the chocolate melts and the mixture thickens.
Remove from heat, set aside, allowing to cool to room temperature.
In a large bowl, mix 1/4 cup butter and 1/2 cup shortening.
Add 1 1/2 cups sugar and cream together.
Add vanilla and eggs, beating and mixing well.
In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Alternately, add in the flour mixture and milk, beating until smooth.
Blend in the chocolate mixture.
Grease three 9-inch round cake pans.
Pour batter into cake pans.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350° F for 25 – 30 minutes.
Test for doneness with a toothpick.
Remove the cake from the oven and place it on wire racks to cool.
Frosting and Decorating:
- Add tinted mint-flavored extract to your favorite frosting.
- After the cakes have cooled, frost them, as you stack them on top of each other.
- Melt 2-3 squares of unsweetened chocolate with 2 teaspoons of butter.
- Cool slightly, then dribble chocolate over the frosting.
- Decorate the top of the Christmas Fudge cake with green and red Christmas candies.

Keep your refrigerator clean and fresh. Clean it twice a year.
First, discard old and out-of-date foods. You will be amazed by how many condiments are old or outdated. Second, remove any ice buildup in the freezer section. Then, give the refrigerator a good cleaning from top to bottom with soap and water. Lastly, wipe it dry.
