If you are like our family, you often have bananas in a fruit bowl on the counter. All too quickly, they get overripe. Don’t throw them out…… make this delicious Banana Bread recipe. And, make it often with this delicious recipe. It’s a real family pleaser.
If you have a lot of bananas, make more than one lof and give some to family or friends.

Banana Bread Recipe Ingredients
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon grated rind of an orange
1/2 teaspoon grated rind of lemon
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
6 tablespoons margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/3 cups finely mashed bananas
Directions How to Make Banana Bread Recipe
First, preheat the oven to 350 ° F.
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Cream margarine, sugar, and both grated rinds.
Beat in egg.
Add flour and mashed bananas.
Mix only until the dry ingredients are wet. A little lumpy is fine.
Pour batter into a greased 9 X 5 loaf pan.
Bake for 55 minutes.
Test for doneness with a toothpick.
Bake a little longer, if the toothpick doesn’t come out clean.
Remove from oven and pan.
Place on a wire rack to cool.

Range hoods collect all kinds of grease. Then, dust attaches itself to the grease making an ugly mess. Ad a couple of drops of vegetable oil on a paper towel or rag. Then, wipe the range hood. The grime comes off easily without scrubbing that can scratch the hood.
