It’s too good to be eaten just during this short time period.  Make it for your Superbowl party and for Oscar night parties, or any time of the year. Pepperoni Bread Ingredients

1 loaf frozen bread dough

1 stick pepperoni, peeled and sliced thinly

4 oz. mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 egg

1 teaspoon parsley

1 teaspoon oregano

1/2 teaspoon salt,1/4 teaspoon black pepper

4 oz. mushrooms, sliced (optional)

How to Make Pepperoni Bread Directions

  1. Thaw bread dough according to package directions.

  2. Place the dough in a bowl and cover it with a clean towel or plastic wrap.
  3. Allow the dough to rise.
  4. Preheat oven to 375° F.

  5. Spray cooking oil on a cookie sheet.

  6. Spread dough out almost to the edges of the cookie sheet.

  7. Mix together the egg and all seasonings except the sesame seeds.

  8. Spread 1/2 of this mixture on the bread dough.

  9. Place a two-row layer of pepperoni down the center of the bread dough. 

  10. Add sliced mushrooms(optional).

  11. Add mozzarella cheese.

  12. Pull up the sides of the bread, and crimp or pinch them together.

  13. Turn the crimped side over so it is on the bottom. Do this carefully, as the crimping can open up.

  14. Spread the remaining egg mixture on top of the dough.

  15. Generously sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

  16. Bake at 375° F for 25 minutes.

Serving the bread hot is best. Pepperoni bread is also good cold.
