Crazy Cake Recipe

This cake is simply delicious. The way you prepare it will sound a little crazy. After it is baked, one taste and you'll be crazy for more.


Crazy Cake Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour

  • 2 cups sugar

  • 2 Tablespoons vinegar

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 3/4 cups vegetable oil

  • 2 teaspoons baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 cup cocoa

  • 2 cups water


How to make Crazy Cake:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 °.

  2. Sift together dry ingredients.

  3. Pour ingredients into a greased cake pan.

  4. Now here's the crazy part... Make three holes in the ingredients.

  5. Add vinegar to one hole, oil in the second hole and vanilla in the third hole.

  6. Pour water over all.

  7. Mix everything with a fork, making sure to get the sides and corners.

  8. Bake in oven for 35 minutes, until done.

  9. Test with a toothpick for doneness.

  10. Remove from oven and allow to cool on a wire rack.

  11. After the cake is cool, frost it with the frosting recipe below.

Frosting for Cake:

  1. Ingredients: 6 Tablespoons butter or margarine, 6 Tablespoons milk, 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar.
  2.  Boil together ingredients, stirring constantly, for 1 1/2 minutes.
  3. Add 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips.
  4. Remove from heat and beat until it thickens.
  5. Pour and spread frosting over the cake.
