Banana Nut Muffin Recipe

Banana nut muffins are one of the more popular muffins. That's because they taste so good. Here is a recipe you are certain to enjoy.

Yield: 12 muffins

Banana Nut Muffin Ingredients:

• 2 cups flour

• 1/4 cup sugar

• 1 tablespoon baking powder

• 1/2 teaspoon salt

• 3/4 cup mashed bananas

• 1 cup milk

• 1 egg, beaten

• 1/3 cup vegetable oil

• 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Banana Nut Muffin Directions:

1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.

2. Blend flour, sugar and baking soda in a medium bowl.

3. Add remaining ingredients in a second bowl and mix together.

4. Pour mixture into the bowl with dry ingredients.

5. Mix together lightly.

6. Put paper muffin cups into a muffin tin.

7. Spoon batter into muffin cups.

8. Bake muffins for 15 minutes.

9. Check for doneness with a toothpick.

10. Bake a little longer, if the tooth pick does not come out clean.
