Common Volume Terms: Hits- are the number of times a page or image has been displayed. Because it includes html, gif and jpgs, it is not a good measure for advertising purposes. For example, A page may have four gifs so when you visit a page once, the the html page and the four gifs combine to represent five hits. Page Hits- Are the number of times an html page has been visited. Impressions- is a measure of the number of times your gif or jpg has been displayed on a page. It is the same as page hits for a specific page, but not the same as page hits for all pages of a website. CPM- is an abbreviation for cost per thousand impressions. Advertising is sold and rates quoted in CPM units. Ad Description, Sizes and Configuration: Banner Ads- Effective brand name promotion and click thru. Button Ads- Effective brand name promotion and click thru. Max Size: Width 88, Height 31 Max File Size: 15k Animation: Only with approval, minimal
Textual Ads: Highly effective when properly placed and worded. URL Link and three to four lines of text, negotiable. Placement normally at the bottom of the page or end of a paragraph, negotiable. Not available on all pages.
Restrictions: We reserve the right to exclude any ad or advertising website that in our view or site visitors is offensive or inappropriate for our sites and it's visitors. All of our sites are kid-safe and we highly value this important qualification. We also reserve the right to terminate any existing contract that is delinquent in payment, in-appropriate material as determined by us, or for any other reason. If an advertisement is terminated by us, we will credit the buyer proportionately for any unused volume.
Payment Terms: Ads will be uploaded shortly after your order is placed, usually in one to three days. Payment in full is due 20 days after invoice. All rate information and payment is in U.S. funds. All invoices will be sent via email, unless a specific postal mailing is requested by the buyer.
How to Order: It's quick and easy. Order your advertisement by email (online PO) Include: Company Name and Address Contact Name and email address Specific page(s) to place ad Quantitiy of impressions ordered CPM: URL for the banner: URL to send visitors For text ads only: A two to three sentence ad with your URL included.
